Petrol prices rise again....

And Petrol prices rise again. So what???!!! I don’t get what is this fuss about rise in petrol prices. Why can’t people see how much Govt cares for us? This rise is actually a blessing in disguise.

Some Serious reasons to Quit ...

First of all wishing you all a Very Happy (though belated) New Year! Usually, with start of new year, job hopping season is also in full swing. In life, I have come across many people who never ever ever ever want to leave a job, when ever they grab one until someone kicked them out (I am not kidding at all). And this species of employees exists even today! On other hand, I know several of those too who are just looking for some reason to quit a job. And I m seriously serious that some people can quit at the drop of a hat (I bet you know a few, who knows you are one of them).

Between Truth and (Tall) Claim lies an Advertisement

Some time ago tall claims by a leading footwear company landed it in the bad books of some US Regulatory Body and also lead to a hefty payout. If it were India, I am sure this would have seemed like a Joke! I mean, with due respect to the advertisements in India (some of which are not only entertaining but also brilliantly executed) many of the advertisement claims are not just untrue but totally outrageous! Which makes me wonder how do they even get clearance at first place!

Ye dil maange 'Flash Mob'

When I read about CST Flash MOB, my first reaction was "Oh No, I missed it". Those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, last Sunday (27 Nov) we had our very first Flash Mob in Mumbai at CST Station. A Flash Mob is a group of people who assemble in a public place and start performing some action, usually a dance for entertainment purpose. I have seen it on American TV Series and on You tube videos and found it pretty interesting concept. That's why I felt really bad to have missed it.

This morning 2 news stories caught my attention. The first one was that government 'may' borrow up to 1 Lakh Crore or more (Just a possibility considering state of fiscal deficit). And then there was a weird tax news, that Denmark government has imposed FAT TAX on the people due to health reasons! Of course the aim is to reduce the intake of fatty foods (and in a way fine the ones who can't control).

Has it ever happened to you that all of your life you had a particular belief and one fine day you realise that you were wrong all the while??? It happened to me. You can call me tube light, but all my life I used to think I am a Pacifist! Recently, it occurred to me that I was so wrong! I mean partially wrong! Reason? Rajni Can't

Lately Rajni has not been keeping that well... and he has been advised rest. Actually there is a secret behind this. Its not his health others are concerned about (oh come on! 'THE GREAT', 'ALMIGHTY', 'CAN DO ANYTHING' RAJNIKANT can not fall sick!!) but its Medical Fraternity's collective decision to keep Rajni out of public glare for a while.

There have been numerous movies about bandits and thakurs and rural set up, however SHOLAY has been a different game (and name) altogether. It has set numerous records and made almost all the characters famous. One such character is that of the GREAT GABBAR SINGH! Whoever has seen the movie, can never forget him and his infamy.

The other day a dear friend of mine was very much upset as some of her friends were using her FB Friends List for matchmaking. She let her dislike be public by posting this on FB, but some people just don't read it (Or perhaps they are selective READERS!). Despite her post, those people continued sending friendship request to her female friends.
